One World, a documentary film festival that has been held in Prague for more than ten years, is much more than a simple film festival: One World, indeed, does not only host the screenings of 120 high-quality films realised all around the world, it is also a chance to think about and discuss very important social, politic, economic and humanitarian issues. One World, indeed, is the most important human rights film festival in Europe, and it is also one of the most appreciated media and cultural events in Czech Republic.

Normally the articles I write deal with sports, photography, or sports memorabilia preservation. Now, given that the Beijing Olympics are in progress, the general assumption is that I have an unlimited number of topics to discuss.
