Are you a freelance article writer who would like to also get started in providing SEO content writing services to your clients? If yes then you should start learning how you can write good optimized articles for the search engines to easily find them. It is actually very easy once you have understood the basics of it.

It is best to first identify or understand what SEO is all about. It is called search engine optimization and it is the process used to optimize a web page to help the search engines to quickly find it and rank it well in the search results. There are many ways that one can work on to do SEO, but for the sake of our discussion we will be dealing with what is called the on page optimization.

To help you with this education, here are some tips you will find useful when you are into the internet marketing Philippines industry.

Do your keyword research first. Every SEO process or campaign starts with determining the best keywords to be used to help optimize any website. So since you are writing just a single article, it should be a lot easier. However, the harder part is determining what keywords you should target that are easy for you to rank well.

Next, when you already have selected your keyword you need to know where to place it. The best place would be the title. Most SEO experts would agree that you can help make your web page rank well if the keyword appears in the title. But you also have to make sure that your title makes sense and is really a good title for the article otherwise people will not understand it or be enticed to read the rest of the page.

While keyword density is not that important anymore, and I am sure there are many out there who are still locked in the old notion that it should be as high as possible, it is still worth placing your keyword at least a couple of times within the body of the article. And for this purpose I suggest you place it in the first and the last paragraphs. But make sure you are smoothly placing it there, meaning the sentences must make sense.

While there are many other SEO content writing tips out there, the ones presented here should serve as a good start for anyone who is interested to give it a try. Do you want to push it a bit further? Then get an SEO course which will teach you the ins and outs of search optimization.
